About Us

Welcome to Sanplatec

Since our founding in 1960, we have opened up the Japanese market as a manufacturer of plastic scientific instruments. At a time when glass laboratory equipment was the mainstream, we focused on a plastic material (polymethylpentene) that was highly transparent and difficult to break. We were the first in Japan to commercialize plastic laboratory equipment to replace glass. We have created more than 3000 original products and currently handling more than 10,000 products. We have established many original brands such as iP-TEC, a live cell transport device, LC4P, a brand of equipment representing glove boxes, Flolo, a brand of fluoroplastic products, and IREMONO, a brand of containers.

Our overseas business began in 1980, and with over 40 years of sales experience, we have earned a high reputation from customers in more than 50 countries. We will continue to contribute to the development of various research fields, and continue to develop and support products to meet the needs of researchers.
