Description

●This Cup is made by blending ordinary polyethylene with bio-polyethylene, which reduces CO2 emissions by up to 70%(※1).
●The performance is the same as conventional petroleum-derived polyethylene.
●Unlike biodegradable plastic, it does not decompose naturally.
●It can be incinerated as waste with zero CO2 emissions.
(※1)The main raw material, sugarcane, absorbs CO2 through photosynthesis during its growth stage, so when it is incinerated as waste, CO2 emissions can be regarded as zero (carbon neutral). Therefore, even including the manufacturing and transportation processes, CO2 emissions can be reduced by up to 70% compared to conventional petroleum-derived polyethylene, which is effective from the perspective of corporate social responsibility by breaking away from dependence on petroleum and contributing to the prevention of global warming.
